Deborah Evans MA,CMLI,IHBC

is a landscape and heritage consultant, collaborator, writer, educator and contact.

An historian, writer and educator who became a Head Gardener, Chartered Landscape Architect and heritage professional, Deborah has worked for Cadw, National Museum and Galleries of Wales, National Trust, Historic England and specialist landscape practices before establishing DE Landscape & Heritage in 2015.

Her professional portfolio ranges from planning advisor, historic researcher, landscape manager, lecturer and author able to articulate the beauty and significance of her projects in a clear accessible style. Through her broad knowledge of art and landscape Deborah brings unusual contextual depth to her work.

She remains a passionate gardener and traveller who is a Trustee of The Gardens Trust and volunteers as a member of the National Trust’s Historic Environment Advisory Group.
